Installation of Camera behind Glass Panel
Last Updated 8 years ago
Placement of Cameras behind glass panel is discourage as the glass panel will cause reflection that prevent the camera from seeing clearly beyond the glass panel.
Here are some examples
Internal Lighting cause reflection on the glass panel preventing the camera from looking out clearly.
The IR (Infra Red) light used by the camera to see in total darkness reflect off the glass door, preventing the camera from seeing outside
Even if there's Non-IR Camera is used (Or Camera with IR Disabled), as long as there is interior light, it'll cause reflection that prevent the camera from looking beyond the glass panel.
