Recording Status Monitoring
We’ve just add in Recording Status Monitoring to the portal.
Our backend now will check equipment with this feature on their recording status.
At a glance, you’ll now if the system is recording at the moment and if there’s sufficient storage to cater for your usage. Warning will be displayed if recording period is short.
You’ll be able to make informed decision if you want to readjust the recording setting to lengthen the recording period, or increase the storage to cater for longer period of recording.
If the system is configured wrongly or with the recording function disabled, it’ll also displayed a error message.
This is very useful if the system recording configuration is done wrongly or disabled. The harddisk may be working properly, but a wrong configuration could result in no recording to the system.
Currently it’ll only support HIKVISION newer equipment.
