Subscribe to 1 Year of DYNDNS Dynamic DNS (DDNS) Services for 1 Hostname

Dynamic DNS, also known as DDNS, solves the problem of ever changing residential IP addresses by associating your address with a consistent domain name without the need to buy a pricey static IP.

When you become a customer of an ISP, they provide you with an IP address so you can access the internet from your home. However, these dynamic IP addresses frequently change, as the ISP manages their own online systems. This makes it difficult to utilize your IP address with other services (webcam, security camera, thermostat, etc.) as the address continues to change without notice.

Dynamic DNS can help by assigning a custom domain name to your home IP address that will update automatically as your IP continues to change.

If your systems supports a DDNS Services hosted by the Manufacturer and the Manufacturer is still providing the services FOC, you’ll not need to subscribe to this services.

Lakson will use a Free DDNS services hosted by the Manufacturer if possible unless the manufacturer doesn’t support it for direct access in which case, Lakson will provide FOC DDNS Services to the customers for 3 years.

This subscription extend your Dynamic DNS Services configured by Lakson by 1 year. It does not include configuration service to set it up.

You can also subscribe directly to various DDNS hosting, e.g. DynDNS, No-IP , for the DDNS Services.
Note that you’ll need to reconfigure the DDNS Settings on your internet router/system for the new hostname to take effect.
