Upgrading of Firmware

You can search the manufacturer's website for upgraded firmware.

All HIKVISION equipment directly purchased from us are through authorised channels and not "gray market" products.
Do note that certain firmware versions upgrades may also required reconfiguration and reformatting of the harddisk. Ensure you have all required data/configurations backup before attempting to upgrade the firmware.
Do note that a failed firmware upgrade process may result in the dvr unable to function and a more technical restoration of the device firmware may be required. This is not covered under onsite warranty.
For equipment under warranty, you can arrange for a RMA and bring back the equipment to us. We'll send the equipment for firmware restoration and inform you for collection once it's done. Do note that it'll reset all configuration back to factory default. If you need to reconfigure the system, you can engage us us to do it for you.
