Recording Period with Different Storage Capacity (HIKVISION)

The system supports multiple compression/quality/bitrate settings.
Recording period will depends on the settings, image composition and also the level of activities captured in the video.

Recording period for 1 Camera based on different compression and resolution of the cameras.
Note that these are estimate. Actual recording period may differ from these.

e.g. 1 x 720P camera can store around 60 days of recording in a 1TB Storage with H.264 Compression.

H.264 will be more compatible with common video players, e.g. VLCPlayer, Window Medias player. Other compression may required manufacturer's player to be used in order for playback to be done. Some of the DVR features may only be available with H.264 compression recording.
