1. Select Device Management. 2. Click on Server 3. Select the Device you want to change the password for, click on it. 4. Select Remote Configuration. The Device must be online for you to change the password. If it's not accessible due to router change/settings missing, power switched off, cables unplugged, rectrify that first in order to use iVMS-4200 to change the password.
5. Click on System->User 6. Select the user you want to change the password for 7. Click on modify 8. Type in the new password. Different DVR versions might have different password requirements. Some older models may only accepts numeric number, the newer models may required a mixture of letters and numbers. 9. Click on Save
The DVR password is changed. This changed the password on the DVR. Depending on the version of the iVMS-4200, you may also need to update the device's password in the Device Management manually. This changed the saved password within the iVMS-4200.
1. Select the Device password you would like to change. 2. Click on Modify 3. Change the password to the new password. 4. Click on Modify
The password is then updated in your iVMS-4200 software to connect to the DVR.
