DHCP Reservation

It's recommended to use DHCP reservation instead of fixing a static IP for the CCTV System. This is so that in the even the router is replaced with another brand/model that uses a different subnet, the CCTV System will still get a valid IP from the new router.

Here's how to do it

1. Go to Advance Settings->LAN->DHCP Reservation

2. Select the MAC Address of your CCTV System from the list and copy it and key in the IP you would like to fix it to, e.g. 192.168.1.64

3. You can also manually key in the MAC Address if you cannot find your mac address on the list.

4. Click on Apply to apply the settings. Power off and on the CCTV System and it should be assigned this new IP address. Use this IP address in your port forwarding settings.

5. Your CCTV Network Setting must be set to DHCP.
