Q: Can I convert my existing system to STEMS integration system ? A:
Yes, you can most likely do that if your existing system is from us.
There'll be a one time development and integration charges to convert the existing system to be STEMS compatible.
It'll also come with 12 months free hosting for the STEMS integration website/links.
Subscription for the STEMS integration website/links will be chargable after the 1st 12 months.
Q: Can I relocate my system to another site/shaft ?
A:
Yes, you can do that. Send us the new site/shaft name and we'll update the STEMS name accordingly.
There'll not be any additional charges for reasonable update of names.
Q: Why is there a subscription fee after the 1st 12 months.
A:
An external hosting server is required as part of the STEMS requirement to host various part of the integration requirement. There are subscription cost incurred to host the server.
Q: Can I pay for the subscription yearly instead of monthly ?
A:
Yes, you can do that. There's an discount of 2 months if you choose to pay the subscription annually, i.e. you only pay 10 months for a 12 months subscription.
The 2 months discount is only valid for renewal with an active subscription.
If the subscription had been terminated/on hold, the 2 months discount will not apply.
However do note that there's no partial refund of the subscription if the projects completes early and the system is no longer in use.
Q: Can I pay for the subscription monthly instead of annually ?
A:
Yes, you can do that.
The bill for the following month will be emailed on the 15th of each month.
If payment is not received by the 1st of the following month, the subscription will be suspended.
If the payment is not received by the 15th of the following month, it'll be taken as the subscription is terminated.


Q: Can I pay prepay for multiple months for monthly subscription monthly?
A:
Yes, you can do that.
Let us know how many months you intend to prepay and we'll invoice you accordingly.
Note that the bill will only be send out once on the 15th the last month of prepaid subscription for prompt payment by 1st of the following month.
Take note of the monthly subscription billing/payment due date.

Q: Can I get a refund for if the system is terminated before the end of the subscription period ?
A:
No, there's no refund for the unused period of the monthly/annual subscription. Do take into consideration of the period when deciding on monthly or annual subscription.


Q: Is there a contract for the subscription ? 
A:
No, there's no contract for the subscription. 
For monthly subscription, the proforma invoice for the following month will be emailed on the 15th of each month.
For annual subscription, the proforma invoice for the following 12 months period will be emailed on the 1st of the 11th month.
If payment is not received by the 1st of the following month, the subscription will be suspended.
If the payment is not received by the 15th of the following month, it'll be taken as the subscription is terminated. 
Q: Can we stop/terminate the subscription for systems not in use.
A:
Yes, you can do that.
System can be on hold for up to 6 months.
There will be a reactivation charges of $150 to reactivate system that are terminated/on hold.
For annual subscription, the reactivation charges will be waived.
Note that monthly subscription period will be by calendar month.
Please choose to reactive it on the 1st of the month to maximise the subscription period.
For system on hold beyond 6 months, the one time development and integration charges will apply to setup the system when you required the system to be connected to STEMS again.
