CIF Resolution

CIF is acronym of Common Intermediate Format. It has 360x288 pixel resolution and it is suitable for video home system (VHS). It is an old resolution standard for video surveillance and it is the maximum video frame rate in NTSC at 30fps.

D1 Resolution

D1 is a Digital TV System standard format. It has a 720x576 pixel resolution or similar to that of 4CIF. It suitable for HD Video Home System (HDVHS). In NTSC, the maximum video frame rate is 25fps.

960H Resolution

960H is a new standard for security cameras and security DVR's that provides high resolution images using advanced image sensors. Security cameras of capable of 960H resolution produce an image that is 960x576 pixel resolution. It is capable of producing superior images that are 34% sharper than D1.
