If you are hearing constant Alarm sound from the video viewer software, it could be because you had accidentally Enable the Event Sound , which will sound an alarm whenever the preset event is triggered, e.g. Motion, Alarm, etc.
Click on Edit -> Advanced (as shown below in the screenshot)
and disable the Event Sound. The alarm sound would be disabled.
