RG59 Coaxial Cable with BNC Connector
Last Updated 8 years ago
Most of the analogue Cameras uses Coaxial Cable to transmit the video signal.
Here's how it look like.
It's crimped with a RG59 BNC Connector head.
First, the insulator is stripped off to expose the solid core and also the shielding wire.
The solid core is then crimped with the center pin of the BNC Connector.
The BNC Connector is then push down on the cable.
The Metal Ring is then use to cover the coaxial shielding cable and crimped down to hold everything in place.
Soemtimes, the frayed wire are then trimmed off for a neater look.
If the frayed wire exposed, it's fine as well.
They are in direct contact with the BNC connector as well.
They don't pose any danger. It doesn't mean that the connector head is loose.
